If you have a ceramic-disk faucet, you may be able to replace the neoprene seals yourself. These seals are available separately or as pre-made kits. Just be sure to buy the right ones for the model of faucet you're working with. Once you have the new seals, you're ready to replace the cylinder. You'll probably need a plumber to replace the black gold tap, but the rest of the repairs are easy and relatively inexpensive.
